KATHLEEN CHALFANT (Rose): Kathleen appeared on Broadway in Angels In America (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), City Center Encores’ Bloomer Girl, Racing Demon, Dance With Me and M. Butterfly.  In addition to Wit, for which she won the Drama Desk, OBIE, Lucille Lortel, and Outer Critics Awards, Kathleen has appeared Off-Broadway in A Hard HeartSpalding Gray: Stories left to TellGreat Expectations5 by Tenn, Guantanamo, The Last Letter, Talking Heads; Savannah Bay, Far Away, The Vagina Monologues, Nine Armenians (Drama Desk Nomination), Twelve Dreams, Henry V (New York Shakespeare Festival), True History and Real Adventures, Sister Mary Ignatius . . ., Just Say No, Jules Feiffer’s Hold Me!, A Walk in the Woods (Drama Desk nomination) Tales From Red Vienna, Somewhere Fun, Red Dog Howls, Painting Churches, Vita & Virginia, Deadman’s Cell Phone and many more. She has been honored with the 1996 OBIE Award for Sustained Excellence of Performance; 1998 Connecticut Critics Circle Award (Wit); 2000 Ovation, Garland, and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards (Los Angeles) for WIT.   She received the Drama League and Sidney Kingsley Awards for her body of work.

LAURENCE LEAMER (Playwright): Laurence Leamer is an award-winning journalist and historian who has written fourteen books many of them bestsellers. He has experienced many different lives. As a college student, he worked in a French factory. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal stationed two days from a road. As a young journalist, Leamer worked in a coal mine in West Virginia and covered the war in Bangladesh for Harper’s. His one novel, Assignment, is about drug trafficking in Peru where Leamer lived for two years. Most of his career Leamer has written nonfiction. His trilogy on the Kennedys–The Kennedy Women, The Kennedy Men and Sons of Camelot–were all New York Times bestsellers. John Grisham called Leamer’s most recent book, The Price of Justice: A True Story of Greed and Corruption, “superb…This is a book I wish I had written.” The journalist’s new book, The Lynching: The Epic Courtroom Battle that Brought Down the Klan, will be published next May. The veteran author found the experience writing a play so exciting that he is writing a new one. Leamer is married to the former Vesna Obradovic. He has one daughter, Daniela, and two grandchildren, Alejandro and Emilia.

CAROLINE REDDICK LAWSON (Director, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Nora’s Playhouse): From 2008-2010, Caroline worked as the Director of Education for New York Theatre Workshop. Her New York directing credits include Yasmine Rana’s The Fallen at NYU Gallatin’s Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre, Eiko Otake’s translation and Nora’s Playhouse dramatic adaptation of From Trinity to Trinity at NYTW’s 4th Street Theatre, Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll House at Wing’s Theatre and Rana’s The War Zone Is My Bed at the Looking Glass Theatre, the Makor, and Vol de Nuit. She assisted with Happy Days, directed by Joseph Chaikin, at The Cherry Lane Theatre, as well as with Rick Burns’s PBS documentary on Eugene O’Neill. Her article, “Lloyd Richards: Reflections from the Playwright’s Champion,” was published in The Drama Review. Caroline is a graduate of the NYU Gallatin Master’s Program, where she focused on directing for theatre. She also earned an M.A. in English from The University of Alabama. For her extensive work in educational theatre in Alabama, she was presented the Alabama Educational Theatre Hall of Fame Award.

ANYA KLEPIKOV (Scenic and Projection Design): Anya is a New York based set and costume designer. Recent theater work includes scenic design for By The Water at Premiere Stages directed by Adam Immerwahr, costumes for Uncle Vanya directed by Mike Donahue at the Weston Playhouse and costumes for Don Juan at the Pearl Theatre, as well as production design for Amanda Palmer’s live statue installation at the New York Public Library. Recently in opera Anya designed costumes for An American Tragedy at the Glimmerglass Festival and sets for Mourning Becomes Electra at the Florida Grand Opera. Upcoming: Radiunt Abundunt – a new musical by Preston Lane and Laurelyn Dossett at Triad Stage; Empty The House – a new opera by Mark Campbell and Rene Orth at the Curtis Institute. Anya teaches at Princeton University. She is a winner of the Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award for Outstanding Costume Design for A Woman of No Importance at the Yale Rep, and has had her work featured in the American Theatre and Live Design magazines. JANE GREENWOOD (Costume Design): Originally from Liverpool, England, Ms. Greenwood was educated at the Central School of Arts in London. She has designed for theatre, opera, dance and film, including over 125 productions for Broadway since Ballad Of The Sad Café in 1963. Recent credits: Thérèse Raquin, The Sound of Music National Tour, You Can’t Take It With You, Act One, Harvey, The House of Blue Leaves, Driving Miss Daisy, and Million Dollar Quartet. Awards for costume design include the Irene Sharaff Award, as well as 18 Tony Award nominations and a Lifetime Achievement Tony. She is also in the Theatre Hall of Fame. Professor of Design at the Yale School of Drama since 1976.

CAITLIN SMITH RAPOPORT (Lighting Design): Caitlin Smith Rapoport is a New York based lighting designer for theater, dance, opera, and everything in between that presents a challenge and a chance to illuminate. She is a recent graduate of the Yale School of Drama, where her credits include The VisitRomeo and Juliet, Thunderbodies and Hedda Gabbler. Recent professional collaborations include work with Yale Repertory Theatre, The Berkshire Fringe Festival, Strong Coffee Stage, SUNY College at Oneonta, Nimble Arts Circus, Sandglass Puppet Theater, New World Theater, and The National Asian American Theater Festival. LIANNE ARNOLD (Projections Design): Named a “2014 Young Designer to Watch” by Live Design Magazine, Lianne is a video & scenic designer who collaborates across genres in the theater, music and art worlds. She won the 2015 NYFringe Excellence Award for Best Video Design for The Mad Scientist’s Guide to Romance, Robots and Soul Crushing Loneliness and her scenic/video design for Funnyhouse of a Negro (CalArts, Michael John Garcés director) was a Prague Quadrennial selection. Past work includes The Elephant in Every Room I Enter (La Mama), Colt Coeur’s How to Live on Earth (HERE); Dice Thrown with composer John King (randomly generated opera, Los Angeles); Hourglass with composer Robin Cox (improv dance experiment); Seven Suns’ The Garden with composer string quartet); various video installations with visual artists Natalia Margolis, Fariba Alam & Urban Matter Design Firm (NYC and Delhi, India), Patty: The Revival with writer/director Patrick Kennelly (Highways Performance Space, Santa Monica); and many others.
