The Nora Salon: “The Once And Future Casey Colman” is in NYC on November 15th!

Our next gathering of The Nora Salon is Friday, November 15th in Manhattan! We hope you’ll join us for a glass of wine, friendly conversation, and an informal reading of Jacqueline Bircher’s The Once And Future Casey Colman.

Crystal Plains, Kansas is a town filled with psychics. Maybe. No one’s exactly sure, but there’s definitely something weird going on. When 17-year-old Casey weasels her way into a seminar hosted by her psychic podcasting hero Miss Angela, she’s sure that her mysterious dreams are just beginning. But, when a cat begins slinking around town predicting untimely deaths, Casey must confront the possibility that maybe her dream come true isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Our next Salon South featuring “Wish Bone” is November 10th! **NEW DATE**

Our next gathering of Salon South is Sunday, November 10th! We hope you’ll join us in Montgomery, Alabama for a glass of wine, friendly conversation, and an informal reading of Pheobe Farber’s full length play, Wish Bone.

NYC-based playwright Phoebe Farber will be joining us for the reading!

Raylene works at the Homestead poultry processing plant in rural Shenandoah County, Virginia, gutting chickens and removing their legs and wings. It’s a disgusting job but it pays well, so she keeps her head down. But Ray feels trapped by her dead-end job, unhappy marriage, and an unfulfilling affair with a high school crush. Things start to change when Carla, an animal rights activist, arrives to organize a strike and opens Ray’s eyes to the cruelty all around her.
