Julie Kling
Artistic Associate
Julie Kling is a performer, writer and education consultant based in NYC. She earned a B.A. in Women’s Studies and Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis, a master’s degree in Communication from the London School of Economics, and studied acting at NYU and the Barrow Group. She has ghostwritten for Salon and the U.S. Department of State. Acting credits include: Cloud Nine, Dinner with Friends (Barrow Group); Sophocles’ Electra, Death of a Salesman (Columbia U); Cabaret (Washington U). She once danced awkwardly on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and won a chunk of change on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Julie is a former Admission Officer for Washington University and New York University, and served on the selection committee for the Tisch School of the Arts. She now spends her time consulting/dancing/writing/making theater, and is thrilled to be part of Nora’s Playhouse.
